What is Power Glass

Not a solar panel — a building material that generates electricity.

Power Glass is cadmium-telluride (CdTe) thin-film photovoltaics laminated into architectural safety glass. Instead of bolting panels onto a finished roof, the glass is the roof, facade, skylight or canopy — generating power wherever daylight reaches it, in opaque, colored or semi-transparent finishes.

Architectural safety glass: Class-A fire rating, withstands Ø35 mm hail and ≥5400 Pa loads, and sheds snow faster than conventional panels.

Safe & recyclable

The cadmium is locked in a stable compound — it does not release in fire or leach when broken — and the glass is recyclable at end of life. RoHS-exempt.
